1. Who we are

These terms govern use of https://cosmeticoslatin.com and purchases at Cosméticos Latín. Cosméticos Latín sells the products. The site was created by DESARROLLO EN TECNOLOGÍA ANTARES (https://antaresgt.com), which provides the platform. They are not the seller of the goods unless a rule says otherwise.

2. Acceptance

By browsing, creating an account, or confirming an order you accept these terms, the privacy policy, the cookie policy, and the shipping policy. If you disagree, do not use the store or confirm a purchase. At checkout you must tick that you accept the terms and the privacy policy before the order is created.

3. Age

You must be at least 18 or the age of majority in your country, and able to contract. The store offers beauty and fashion for personal use in Guatemala. It is not directed at children under 13.

4. Account

Registration asks for name, email, and a password of at least 8 characters, plus a 6-digit code we send to your email. You may turn on fingerprint or Face ID if your device allows it. Keep your account safe. We may lock or close accounts for fraud, abuse, or repeated non-payment. You can ask to delete the account from your profile; it is scheduled for 5 days.

5. Products and prices

Products and each variant appear as separate cards. Prices are in quetzales (Q). Discounts, surcharges, and coupons are confirmed when quoting and when the order is created: the total that counts is the one recorded on the order, not only what you see on screen. A personal coupon requires that you are signed in. Promotions follow the Guatemala calendar; the last day of the promo also counts. Stock is reserved when the order is confirmed. Photos are illustrative; color and finish may vary a little. Catalog copy is not medical advice.

6. Orders

The order is confirmed when the system creates code CL-YYYYMMDD-XXXXXX. You may buy with an account or without one. If you buy without an account, we store you as a customer so we can ship. Keep the code and email: you look up the order and upload the receipt with both. A gift order uses the list owner’s saved address; that address is not shown to the gifter.

7. Payment

The only payment method on the site is a deposit or transfer to the accounts we show at confirmation. We do not process cards online and we do not store card data. Shipping starts after we validate the receipt you upload (photos, up to 10 files). A fake receipt or a payment that does not match the order can be rejected and, if applicable, can lead to account lock.

8. Invoicing

If the total is Q 2,500 or more, NIT or CUI is required. Gift orders use Guatemala as the tax country. Incomplete or invalid data blocks confirmation. The identifier is used for invoicing.

9. Shipping

We ship only within Guatemala. Tracking is enabled after we validate the deposit. Timeframes and the shipping cost then in force follow the shipping policy and what is recorded on the order. You must give a complete address and a contact phone.

Carrier delays or incomplete data are not our breach if the parcel left with the information you gave us.

10. Returns and refunds

For hygiene reasons we do not accept returns of opened, used, or unsealed cosmetics, makeup, or personal-care items, except for a manufacturing defect, a wrong item, or damage in transit.

To claim, write to [email protected] with the CL code, photos of the packaging and product, and a description of the issue, preferably on receipt. If the claim is valid, we replace the item or refund by transfer to the account you paid from, after validation. Bank refund timing depends on the bank.

11. Acceptable use

Do not use the store for fraud, copying the catalog at scale, attacking the site, uploading harmful files, identity theft, or professional resale without a written agreement. Products are for personal use. We may cancel orders or accounts that break these rules.

12. Intellectual property

Trademarks, catalog, copy, design, and store software belong to Cosméticos Latín or its licensors. The platform belongs to DESARROLLO EN TECNOLOGÍA ANTARES. Do not copy or reuse the content for commercial purposes without written permission.

13. Liability

The store is provided as is, with maintenance or force-majeure pauses. To the extent the law allows, liability for an order is limited to the total paid on that order. We are not liable for misuse, allergies not stated on the official packaging, or indirect loss. Nothing here takes away consumer rights you cannot waive.

14. Privacy

How we use your data is described in the privacy policy. By accepting these terms you also accept that policy.

15. Law and contact
